Watch what you download - a spyware warning for Mac users (a novelty, I know!)


The Apple Blog warns of a piece of spyware doing the rounds called OSX/OpinionSpy which infects your Mac via downloaded applications and screensavers. Further information can be found at Intego's Mac Security Blog here and here.

iPad helps dolphins and humans communicate

A press release from researcher Jack Kassewitz at SpeakDolphin explains how the Apple iPad is being used to further experiments in inter-species communication between humans and dolphins:

"Last week, a young bottlenose dolphin called Merlin became the first of his species to join the growing number of enthusiasts using the Apple iPad."
