Stephen Thrower (Cyclobe and ex-Coil) has written a touching and very personal tribute to 'Uncle Sleazy' in the latest edition of The Wire, on sale now in paper and digital editions.

The Guardian now have a full obituary by Alexis Petridis up here, but for me, this obituary by Pierre Perrone in The Independent is the best yet.

In addition to heartfelt and moving tributes from friends and long-time collaborators Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti, more obituaries and tributes to the late Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson have appeared over the last few days.

Creative Review as you might expect focus more on Sleazy's influential body of art and design work, sometimes (and unfairly) overshadowed by his music.

Artist and designer John Coulthart focuses on the personal influence Sleazy had on his life and work.

Following on from their broadcast tribute, BBC Radio 6 Music have added a tribute on their website.

Another personal tribute to Sleazy is on the Optimo blog.

Lastly, there's a rather uninspiring offering from the NME. The sentence "He also later played in Coil." is indicative of the (lack of) knowledge and/or research that went into this offering.
