The nastiest piece of hate-filled, homophobic filth I've seen in a long time
Richard Carvath (@RichardCarvath on Twitter) calls himself a "British political activist and member of the CCF". (CCF = Conservative Christian Fellowship). According to this odd little interview, he apparently worked cleaning toilets in a restaurant in Manchester's gay village in 1997 and is banned from Salford Magistrates Court for life (due, he alleges, to a Freemasonic conspiracy). Back in November last year, he wrote a piece on his blog entitled Rightful Discrimination against Matthew Sephton. You can read the full piece here (be warned - it will probably make you feel sick) but here is a flavour of his 'Christian' philosophy of life:
"Under the National Blood Service's current guidelines, a homosexual-pervert is banned from donating blood if he has ever engaged in anal or oral perversion activity with another man."
"Given that homosexual-perverts are generally riddled with disease - from HIV to syphilis to hepatitis etc - as a result of their sodomitical activities, it is entirely right and proper that the National Blood Service refuses to accept their poisonous blood."
His rantings have already been reported to the police, but Carvath has refused to remove the offensive post and stands by his bigoted views. It's truly frightening that in the 21st century, people are still promoting such a vile, hate-filled view of other human beings...
